IE problem
last friday I hooked up my DSL in my new apartment...and also hooked up a wireless router. Problem is that since the installation of the dsl/router, IE is giving me problems. If I'm on a website and there is a link to another website, when i click the link it opens the link in a new window...but closes the page i was on. so i basically eliminates the "back button", never have i had this problem. It's just more of an annoyance, but i can't seem to figure out what its doing this?
anybody know? |

In IE, go to Tools>Internet Options>Advanced tab. Find and check "Reuse windows for launching shortcuts," click OK. Yes, on the face of it that sounds backwards but if that line is not checked, IE will not allow more than one window to remain open.
