IE6 clunky and chunky
I don't get this at all...
IE6 is all slow and kkked-up! In Yahoo the text is all centred on the page. On most if not all pages the screen acts like it's a light year or two behind what I'm typing. Weird. It's like running through honey with diving boots on. It doesn't happen in Winamp for example, or Word etc. Please help, this is driving me nuts (but only very slowly) teem |

The symptoms you describe indicate the presence of CoolWebSearch, especially the sloooow typing.
Download CWShredder and run it to get rid of CoolWebSearch. Then if you haven't already scanned for and removed any other spyware that might be infesting your computer, download, install, immediately update and then run Spybot and/or AdAware (you can use them both.) Let whichever one you choose clean up any spyware it finds. |

Be forewarned - Mozilla is vulnerable to many of the same spyware intrusions that IE is, including obnoxious stuff from lop.com.

Mozilla is also not compatible with some sites. Also, I couldn't download anything using Mozilla Firebird and there were no scroll bars. I am back to using IE.

I have a P.O.S. computer so i dont know if this applies to everyone but Mozilla Firebird takes a while to start.

I had used Opera 7 but it became agonizingly slow after about a month and nothing I tried would make it faster.

I tried all of that. Didn't help. IE is working fine for me and the Google toolbar works great at blocking pop-ups.
