Has anyone seen this problem with Outlook Express 5.5

After checking e-mail then exiting the program, trying to start another program may fail or be slow to start.
When CTRL-ALT-DEL is pressed to reveal Task Manager one of the items listed is "msimn [Not Responding]".
This only happens after checking e-mail. Any other task in OE 5.5 does not create this problem.
I have tried completely removing all OE 5.5 files including stuff from the registry but still get the same problem.
The problem does not happen in OE 5.0.
You cannot reinstall 5.0 until IE 5.5 is removed.
You can then install OE 5.0 from the Win98 CD and then reinstall IE 5.5 if you want without checking OE as an upgrade.

I would like to see reponses from this as Microsoft is denying there is a problem but I have other people that I spoke to have confirmed this problem.

Thumbs down

Yep. On a daily basis.
This happens from a fresh new install of Win98SE. Upgrade immeadiatly to IE/OE 5.5
I have also had it confirmed by my Company's Server guy who has had problems on his Laptop with OE 5.5 and he's real paranoid about viruses. Nobody goes near his computer.
Since I've had this confirmed by six seperate sources it has to be a software bug. Something to do with the new Mail Receipt feature.
