Setting Up An FTP Server?
I used to have an FTP server, but then I added more computers and needed a router. Since then, I never had it working again. Now, I need one, and still can't figure it out. I use Serv-U. Anyone know what I need to do to get it to work with the router (SMC Baricade)?

I've never used Serv-U, but I have used Fastream Netfile FTP Server (http://www.fastream.com/download.htm) and it's really easy to set up and use with decent options. Right now I'm working on setting up a Linux box specifically for my server so we'll see how that goes. But as far as a server behind a firewall goes, you need to go to the configuration menu for the router, find Port Forwarding, and make sure that the ports you are serving are forwarded to that computer's local IP address (for example if you are serving ports 16520 in Serv-U on computer 192.168.1.101 then on your router you need to make sure port connections to 16520 are forwarded to 192.168.1.101). Also make sure that the FTP port (normally 21 and sometimes 22) is also forwarded to the proper address. Good luck,

On your router, forward port 21 to the proper LAN IP address of your computer.
