Question PCM Forums IE Error

This is a puzzler. I have been having this problem for the last 2 days, it started randomly. No big software changes occured.

When I am on the PCM homepage and click on the Forums link I get a pop up with this message:

Internet Explorer cannot open the Internet site http://forum.pcmech.com/.

Operation aborted.

It pops up occasionally upon opening the homepage too, but always with the forums. I can get on the forums by clicking the "Most recent discussions" links. I ran Spybot, Adaware, and HijackThis scans, deleted anything odd and the problem pursists. Any ideas? TIA

I had this same problem...do a virus scan, run Ad-aware & Spybot, then update windows (there is an update for IE 6).

Or if you know your system is clean...restore it back to a time before this started...I found that some junk had added some registry settings on my XP machine, that ad-aware took care of.
