I have encountered several machines with the XP + Linksys + SBC DSL that start downloading and then stalls around 2-3 megabytes.
I have checked the Time Alive settings, MTU etc, but I can't seem find a problem. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Haasman |

I closed the other thread and will leave this one open.
Which model and version Linksys router? The BEFW11S4 version 4 has bad firmware that Linksys hasn't been able to sort out yet. With SBC DSL, you should enable MTU at 1492, and use keep alive. Whatever router it is, install the latest firmware. |

Yea, When you have router problems most of the time firmware upgrades are the only way.
