FrontPage server problems
Hi ho all,
I was recently asked out of desperation to create an easily updateable website for a client with poor computer skills. The site they used to use, was handwritten (I think), and was updated with WSFTP. His seceratary did all the updating before, but she has since left. Now, HTML is NOT my specialty, but I have put a few sites together with FrontPage. So, I figured I'd update the site, and teach one of the guys how to update it. No problem so far, except he also shares the domain with his brother who still uses WSFTP, and is another state. My question is, can I put www.zomertrucks.com (red) for my client on a frontpage server, then when they click on the out of state guy (blue), can that be directed to their old server? The main problem is that the old site has script that FrontPage doesn't like, and it won't load. Thank you. |

Well, I'm far from being a HTML person too, but consider something OTHER than Front Page - some kind of WYSIWYG editor that has a friendly publish function that doesn't require proprietary server extensions.
