Best free web hosting?
A couple years ago I used homestead it was a great free web hosting site, even had a DL program to work offline and upload when you were ready, great when you want to update everything all at once but they started charging(2-3 years ago). I absulutley hate geocities. Ive tryed angelfire but its not that great, its hell to navigate through their site. What is your favorite free web hosting site?

I run everything through my box so its really 'free' nothing is free everything will have popups most of the time.. |

there aren't really any good free hosting solutions anymore. In the old days I used to use geocities because it was easy to bypass their banner ads but now most free host don't even allow hot linking (linking to something on your site from another site.)

I use http://www.freewebs.com But, like everyone else, it's not free.. You're limited to 7 pages, and very limited on uploading files.. They figure if you're going to have a lot, you'll pay.

I love 50megs! When im in the file manager its very easy to manage and make web pages in scource code. Love the mail forwarding thing! I like having webmaster in my email
 (only bad thing is both adresses go to the same place). But I have no idea what to make my web page on...lol  . Oh, quick question...Can I remove the gray bar that seperates frames?

biggest in europe, entering u.s market. offers 3yrs of free hosting with 500mb space/5gb bandwidth with all the ususal (php, mysql) stuff. need to be resident of u.s/canada |

Just out of curiosity does your ISP provide you with any webspace? Like I know that comcast gives me 25Mb per account.

The best free host, Me, I just host my own sites. Kinda surprised my wife doesn't try to charge me though

www.mycgiserver.com pretty nice no adds or nothing.(gives you a ftp up to 25 megs i think)
