Free boards
anyone know of some good free boards?http://www.aimoo.com/createsuccess.cfm?urlid=547241. i googled it but theres a couple like this. They allow you to make free boards but make it there url. its like aimoo.com/undead/forum something like that. i want a forum that would allow me to pick my url. thx

You can get webhosting and a domain for about 15 bucks up front, 5 dollars a month thereafter.
It's worth it to have access to your own data  .

The best free one is probably PHP Bulletin Board. It works on a variety of platforms and has some nice features. Not quite as well supported as vBulletin but there are quite a few mods for it.
