.pl extensions in IE
Anytime I open a webpage with a .pl (perl) extension my computer tries to use my perl compiler to compile the webpage. I am asked whether I want to open or save the file.
I know the problem is the perl extensions as I had the same problem on my laptop but I uninstalled perl and it is working fine now. I need to keep perl on my computer so uninstalling is not really an option. Does anyone know how to change settings so that files opened within IE will not be run through my local perl compiler. Thanks |

Who has web pages with a .pl extension? I can't remember every seeing one. Generally it would be with a .cgi extension. I suppose that you could tell Explorer to open files with a .pl extension with IE.
