Yahoo browser.....this is REALLY bugging me!
I'm sick of the Yahoo browser which my machine has defaulted to ever since I signed up with BT Yahoo broadband.
Would anyone PLEASE help, I just want my Internet Explorer back! Someone replied to me the other day on how to solve the problem but it did not work. Here is what the browser looks like.....I've never seen it before. ..... TIA

Uninstall ALL the Yahoo and BT software and use the XP make a new connection wizard to set up the PPPoE connection. The ONLY "software" you may need is a modem driver if it's USB or internal PCI.
The following is excellent, just substitute your BT info for this ISP's. http://www.seanet.com/help/dsl/pppoe/xp_pppoe.shtml Note - if you are using PPPoA instead of PPPoE, you may be stuck with the junk - try uninstalling everything Yahoo and BT, except for the "connection manager" or whatever they call it. |
