Weird question...
Ok I'm working on my moms computer and she can't send e-mail from her hotmail account. She's using IE. There is an error on the page when she composes a new e-mail that says:
Line: 80 Char: 1 Error: 'g_state.bgColor' is null or not an object Code: 0 URL: http://by1fd.bay1.hotmail.msn.com/cg...te___90801.asp Now I have no clue why this is happening or what its from. I'm trying to install a new version of Internet Explorer and when I go to the Microsoft page to download it I get this error (I've attached an image). The error for this microsoft page says: Line: 2163 Char: 1 Error: Object Expected Code: 0 URL: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/default.asp No the pattern I see is that they are both .asp files. I don't know if this is an easy fix that I should know about but I've never seen this before. All help would be greatly appreciated. This has winXP Thanks

I'm on a different computer now and I don't have the attached file now. I just realiezed that. So I don't know about that.
But the real problem is that my mom can't send or forward e-mail from her hotmail account. I can't seem to figure out why. It has something to do with the tool bar that comes up when you compose a new e-mail. It doesn't come up and it won't allow her to send an e-mail. It's hard for her to learn a new web browser so I want to stick with Internet Explorer but I just can't seem to figure this one out. I've run virus scan (norton) and it found 4 trojan virus' but I got rid of them and scanned again and they were gone. I also ran spy bot S & D and Lavasoft Ad-aware and Spy Sweeper and nothing. The system seems clean to me. This is a system I built this past Thanksgiving. I built one earlier this year and didn't have this problem at all. Alll help would be appreciated. Thanks. |
