Dead hyperlinks

When I click on this download link :
http://uscis.gov/graphics/formsfee/f...s/n-400ins.pdf
all I get is a blank page with that little box icon with a small circle , square and triangle in it.
(Whats that called, by the way ?)
The sites webmaster says there is nothing wrong with the site- its me.... I don't have a problem on other sites. ( 98SE)
Thanks.

Do you have Adobe Acrobat Reader on your computer? It sounds as if the plug-in isn't installed.

Also, what browser are you using?

Have you tried downloading the pdf file and then opening it?

(By the way, the link works for me.)

The download dialogue does not open. Nothing happens.
The only thing I see after clicking on the link is a blank page with the icon I described. I tried it on another computer here in the house and got a 404 message. If it works for you, I must have a problem. Not to worry, Ive phoned their 800# and they are mailing the form. If the problem re occurs on another site, I'll repost.
Thanks for the suggestions.

Yeah, the link works for me too. I uploaded it to one of my sites. Right Click Here and Select Save Target As to download.

Thanks mairving- Coincidently, I had just this morning pulled up some good info on web site promotion\marketing that you alerted me to a long time ago.
2004 is my " get my web sites going" year.
