just a little question

is it normal for a mail with an attachment to take a few days to get to the reciever

It depends on the mail program. Usually it doesn't take that long. I use a mail.com , infrequently, and it can take several days to receive mail.

i use outlook XP and using msn mail in outlook xp

I also use both of those mail programs but the mail goes through quickly.

then why is it that when i send a mail with an attachment they won't recieve it

I'm sorry, but I really can't answer your question as to why your attachments aren't being received.

are you sure they are getting out of your pc. some firewalls could block attachments as could your a-v if the settings in either program are set wrong.

Are the attachments larger than your ISP's mail server allows?. Most ISP's put a 4mb limit on attachments.

Try sending a message with one of the attachments that's been giving problems to yourself. If you get it back, then the problem is on the other end...either with the recipient's email server or their own computer's configuration.
