Stupid FrontPage errors

Built www.zomertrucks.com for a client. Built it at home on my XP machine, using FrontPage 2002 (XP). This site needs to be regularly updated by a non-tech type that I have been training which is why I went with FrontPage in the first place.

After the initial build, I copied all of the files, and copied them back to his machine which runs 98 and the same version of FrontPage. So far, so good. Had a few little hiccups, with the vti_pvt folder, which were easily remedied after changing some file properties to archive, and unchecking 'Read Only'.

Now I have a whole new set of problems. If you visit the site, you will see it deals with trucking inventory. This changes regularly, and is updated regularly. I have him open the site off his hard drive. We then edit it in FrontPage. When we make a change, and select publish, we get a 'remove page dialog'. The problem is, it says that the page no longer exists on the harddrive, and should FrontPage remove it from the server? But it wants to remove pages from the server that are still indeed on the hard drive. Paths are the same, and I am fresh out of ideas. This problem only occurs on his 98 machine. At home with my XP machine, all is fine and dandy.

To clarify: When we edit the page, Truck 'x' is deleted (cause it was sold), truck 'y' is unchanged (cause it is still in the lot), and truck 'z' is added (because they picked up this new truck on trade). When publishing, it asks if it should remove truck 'x' because it no longer is on the hard drive. Fine, but then it will also ask if it should remove truck 'y' for the same reason. But we never changed truck 'y'. It was never even clicked on to edit. I can browse to truck 'y' in IE (off the harddrive), and see the whole path just like FrontPage does. But it still insists saying that it no longer exists on the hard drive. Could this be a problem with Windows 98? Since it doesn't happen on my XP machine, I think it is. Is there a setting that needs to be changed in FrontPage on the 98 machine?

Thank you all.

Probably not, but I think I found the answer. There is an option in tools called 'Recalculate Hyperlinks'. I need to get out there and try it, but it sounds like that's what my problem is.
