Yet another MSM 6.1 silly question
OK, the thing is installed and working, so far so good, altho I haven't chatted with anyone yet.
I have a question though, is there a way to remove the MSM from the task bar and leave it only on the system tray, like Trillian and Winamp? TIA

I'm not much on abbreviations, are you talking about MS Messenger? If so, open it from the task bar, click on tool/options/preferences and untick the "start when windows starts"

I did that already, but that is not the problem.
OK, sorry I didn't explain well. I'm gonna use some pictures because my English sux. In the first one you'll see the MSM in the task bar. |

And in this one you'll see it also on the system tray.
Now, what I want is to make it disappear from the task bar, and leave it only on the system tray, like Trillian. You notice Trillian next to the MSM in the system tray, but you didn't see it in the task bar. I don't want my task bar too crowded, because I usually have many windows opened at a time. Is there a way I can do it? TIA PS: Yes, MSM = Microsoft Messenger.

Now I know what you're talking about, NK. (and there's nothing wrong with your English!) I searched everything I know about MSM and I can't find a way to eliminate the task bar indicator. Since both just indicate a running program, there's no need to see both. Maybe someone else has an idea. I'm clueless on this one.

can't you just close it? then whenever you need it, just right click the icon in the tray and open it.

Yeh, but whenever I open it again it sits again in the task bar and that is what I don't like.
