Hidden spyware?
I sat down on my bro's computer, opened up IE, and BOOM pop up ads! (some examples were LowerMyBills.com, MyInks.com, AmericanSingles.com, and TermFinder.com)
I cleared cookies, history, and temp internet files. I ran trusty Ad-Aware, and it found nothing. He has kazaa lite, not kazaa. Where is this coming from? |

Turn off messenger service and switch to a different browser (Mozilla, Opera, Firebird), after of course you run Spybot Search & Destroy. Don't forget to update the spybot database!

If the OS is Win XP, I agree with Heon2574 on disabling windows messenger. You might also want to empty Windows temp files also.
