i use opera and ie. ie for microcrap zone.com games cause my opera wont work with it. (ie=microcrap monopolizing it so zone has to use ie) i have zone alarm so i already have pop up protection. i use opera sometimes just to get away from microcrap.
did u know if bill gates was a country he'd be the 52 wealthy'ist country. he also has enough money to give every human being on the face of the planet 7 dollars. (think of all that people in africa and asia omg) think of how many slushies that could buy...... THINK OF HOW MANY 7/11's HE COULD OPEN.....HE COULD OWN THE SLUSHY AND IT'S RIGHTS IF HE WANTED!!!! |

Have you tried going to File/Quick Preferences and setting Opera to identify itself as IE? Does it work with the games then? I use Opera myself, great browser. |

IE for pages I know.
Mozilla for everything else, as many pages nowadays are loaded with pop-ups.

I use three diff ones. MYie2 most of the time. IE rarely. Advant rarely. I have never tried Opera but hear a lot about it here.
I also just got done downloading IE5.5 sp2 for slower machines with not much memory. 84mb. cat

I use opera 7.23. Works great! I am actually downloading mozilla firebird now... just to try it, it is not likely to get me away from opera though.

I like Mozilla personally. I find that its a very good browser, especially with the built in Pop-Up Blocker.
Now, the only thing I use IE for is the ocassional Windows Update (only because I have to). |

Thanks for the suggestion Tyler. I think I'll give it a try when I get my DSL hooked up on Wednesday.

Firebird,it can be customized anyway you wan't to if you take the time to do it. No popups or adds. Also use Thunderbird for mail, you can train it for spam, I haven't had spam for at least 3 months since I started using it.

i've tried opera, mozilla and a couple of others, they all work pretty well but i saw no improvement over IE6 and i use google for pop ups so i just stay with IE,i'm used to it and have no problems.don't game so can't comment on that.
