I can't view HTTPS pages
I use Windows 98SE and IE 5.5. I just reinstalled Windows, and now I can't get to those pages. Was some security setting or something restored back to default?

Go to Tools, Internet Options, Advanced. Under Security, check to make sure that "Use SSL 2.0" and "Use SSL 3.0" are checked.

Both are checked. I can't view any HTTPS pages, and PayPal.com isn't working either.

Try runing a windows update and get all the criticals. If nessary once the page loads insert the "s" for the https.
are you running any other fire wall/ security/pupup blocker/ some such type software? Try setting all of the IE options to default Empyting history. temp, cookies (in that order) and restarting IE.
