How Do I Get Rid Of This Hijacker

Could somebody please hack the following Web site and completely shut them down forever. They have hijacked my home page and I can't get rid of it. I have tried spybot and hijackthis and nothing works. Someone ought to blow their heads off. Here is the web site:

Can't solicit hijacking around here. The other sentence is mighty strong. Exactly what is being "hijacked"?

Tony, that is what hijacking is all about. You can change back your home page settings from now until eternity and it won't keep it permanently. There are other ones that I have gotten rid of but this one is a really bad one.

I am so damn angry right now that if I could find them and if it would be possible to sue them I would file a law suit against them tomorrow.
If it's not possible to sue them than I would use other means. You know if one us breaks into a corporate computer and messes with it then we can go to jail. Why should these businesses have any right to come in and pretty much destory our systems and waste our time for hours trying to figure out how to get rid of their scum sucking trash.

The directions for removing the safesearch don't match up because obviously they have altered it. In the meantime I have temporarily shut down my home page function altogether from the registry because I absolutely can't stand it but it is in no way a solution.

I'd start out by going to ask jeaves as that site is powered by ask Jeaves. Tell them Jeaves is being abused by them. Then I'd ask how to legal action against them and remove the damn thing.

When they come back and say "that'll be $22.00" email Jeaves and explain the situation. I don't know Jeaves personally but think he would be pretty damn upset and help you out.

This one of the reasons I give HDD space for that sense of security I get from system restore. If they can get around System Restore I think they'll have Bill Gates knocking on there door.

Have you tried "Hijackthis", it's free and a fast download since it's a ZIP file. I have used it twice to get rid of hijackers that spyware software hasn't been able to get rid of.
This site ,www.spywareinfo.com , is for posting your hijackthis log, people will tell you what to delete. Or you can do a search at that site for "safesearch" and read what they told other people to delete. DO NOT delete unless you know for sure, most of this stuff you need, it's supposed to be there.

Thanks people and RMR. I thought I knew how to deactivate the home page from the registry and for awhile it was just saying "blank," so the spyware must have reactivated it.

I sent an email to ask jeevies but they sent back an autoresponder saying that they were closed for the holiday.

I used the Hijackthis program on it but except for about 6 items I was afraid to delete anything else because I didn't want to delete something that might be important. The Hijackthis help site you mentioned will be a big help.
