AOL problem
Hi,
Just finished a new build for a neighbour. He's installed his AOL broadband software but when he connects, the AOL page shows up normally with your emails etc but then an error message appears in the middle of the screen telling him to save anything important as the system is shutting down. At the bottom of the message it says something about REMOTE PROCEDURE CALL (RPC) SERVICE TERMINATED UNEXPECTEDLY cAN ANYONE HELP? Mackem

It's been awhile since anyone got attacked with one of those blaster worms. Try here

Here is a great solution..
Control Panal. Add/Remove Programs. Uninstall AOL. I would get the latest Service Pack and ALL of MS Critial Updates. Do NOT ignore them. MS should have a patch for the blaster worm. |
