Boom Internet Explorer Trouble

For some reason, my IE homepage keeps setting itself to this advertisement that makes my CD drive pop open, then asks me if I'm tired of pop ups.

I go to Internet Options, and see that my homepage is set to default-homepage-network.com or something, so I set it back to LiveWire, then next time I open IE its back on this advertisment that pops open my CD drive.

Any help? I don't know what to do and it's really annoying me? Thanks in advance.

It's time to run Ad-aware and Spybot S&D, plus an updated anti-virus.

Actually, this all started right after I ran Ad Aware for the first time...

It may have started after you ran Ad-aware, but the program itself didn't start it. I would finish the job, there is something still on the computer that Ad-aware obviously didn't catch.

Cool

Download and install spyware guard freeware.
Among its many features is
Quote:
Browser Hijacking Protection - stop browser hijacking activity in real-time
It will provide a warning if any software attempts to change your homepage.
It also has a live update feature to use.
cheers, ~pawprint~
