hotmail problem

I'm not able to send any mail out of my hotmail account. I can type the message and who i want to send it to, but when i hit the "send" button I get this message " error on page." on the lowest bar in the IE window. Anybody know what is up with this. I've tried to send a few different things to different people with the same results.

Have you tried e-mailing hotmail for help?

I'm j/k, I crack myself up sometimes.

Anyway, have you searched hotmails help/support section? Is that the entire error message?

I can't seem to access MSN hotmail help either. when i click on the link for help a blank page comes up and it says "loading..." at the top, but nothing happens.

yes that was ( still is actually )the complete error.

You have problems with any other sites you visit? Maybe your security settings are too high on your browser.

nope, i changed the security to medium-low and it still doesn't want to sent anything, i can't even attach any images to an email that i intend to send. I get the same "error on page" message" when i hit the button to attach an image

Just out of curiosity...is the time/date on your computer correct? I have run into problems with hotmail on pc's before when the time/date wasnt set correctly.

yup, the date and clock are set to the correct time (maybe off a few minutes from the atomic clock, but probably not that much.)

OK, I found there's more to it than the "error on page" that i've been getting. It seems that the page never opens completely. I Click on the new mail icon, and the new mail page opens up, but then on the very bottom bar (the same bar that i'm receiving the "error on page" message) it says window opening, but it never goes away. So i don't think that the page is loading completely. I've given a long time too load also, in excess of 5 minutes but the "opening page" message is still there. I'm running on cable modem so it shouldn't take very long for the page to load. Anyone else experience anything like this?

Here's some more info. I double clicked on the that appears in the lower bar and this error came up.

"problem with this webpage might prevent it from being displayed properly or functioning properly. In the future, you can display this message by double-clicking on the warning icon in the staus bar."

I then clicked on the "show details"icon and this was what was displayed.

Line: 80
Char: 1
Error: 'g_statebgColor'is null or not an object
Code: 0
URL: http:/by1fd.bay1.hotmail.msn.com/cgi-bin/dasp/EN/rte _____90801.asp
