MSN and Hotmail Won't Work
My MSN Messenger and Hotmail won't work. It tells me that my password is incorrect ( which it's not). When I try to change the password I can't.
It tells me that I am not connected. OS is WIN XP cable internet service MSN Messenger 6.1 I went to the connection tab and wrote down what was in there. Not sure what it means but here it is. Type SOCKS Version 4 Port 1080 Thanks Loree |

Sounds like you are trying to connect through a proxy. Go into Control Panel, Internet Options - Connections tab, then LAN settings - and uncheck all 3 boxes.

I am having a smiliar problem, but two weird things inconnection with this is:
I am unable to open Control PAnel, and I am unable to right-click. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Gil |
