New Version Of Mozilla Firebird

For those of you interested, there is a new version of Firebird available for download at Mozilla.org. But they have changed the name of the browser to Firefox, same thing (improved, of course) different name.

I think it may need some work yet. I am missing scrollbars and forward and back buttons on the toolbar. Strange.

doctorgonzo,
Thanks for trying it so quickly. I tried to get to their d/l site and couldn't connect.
I think I'll wait for some more reviews.

I don't think they're quite there with the java side of things yet as some of our web pages at work load with jve errors but other than that I find it quicker than IE at rendering pages and like the multi tab features.

P.S. I'm usiing Firefox to post this and haven't noticed any problems with PCMech.

That is strange. When I installed it, I got all the buttons and scrollbars. I havent checked out any sites that I would need plugins for, but I also hope that they have fixed this. It's quite annoying when you go to a site and find out you need to download "Plugin X".
