Most ISP's will have a sitecounter available for their users use.

You can also go to http://www.htmlgoodies.com/ under CGI (common geteway interface) and make your own counter - it's always better to make your own than get the free service
. It does involve attaching to the server (telnet or FTP) and giving specific commands to the paths.Hope that helps, kram
