I have IE 5.5 with windows NT 4.0 (sp6) on several computers and am always adding items to my favorites folders on different computers. Now when I expect to find an item in one favorites list it is usually on the other computer's favorites list.
Is there a way to synchronize the favorites lists so that I can have one list of folders and items that includes all of the favorites from both PCs? |

Hi Roberto:
Instead of synching favourites, why not use the same favourites folder? Its more efficient & uses less space. I'll summarize the procedure involved.. - create the common favourites folder & give it permissions & sharing .. lets call this directory as \\CentralComp\WinNT\Faves or if its mapped x:\winnt\faves\) - go to your registry thru ur editor (regedit) and change.. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer \User Shell Folders change it to either name x:\winnt\faves\ or \\CentralComp\WinNT\Faves HTH |

Ex Static-Cling,
Good suggestion. Unfortunately some of the PCs are not networked. |

If some are not networked then it is not possible to synchronize them.
For the ones that are netowrked, try roaming profiles. A simpler option is to copy the favorites folder to floppy and then to each PC.
