Look at my site, give your opinions

Hi, I am working on a website (http://ricserv.servebeer.com) and want to know your opinions on it. Give me your ideas on layout, content, and what you think would be a good add-on to the site. I don't have a forum yet, thats on it's way, and some of the guides are not finished yet. Also I have a lot more articles to write. Just give your opinions on what is already there.

Please give your opinions, I can see from my server software that people have been clicking it, it is being hosted on my own computer.

Ok the layout is nice and clean - I like it. I would consider leaving everything but centering the entire thing on the page. That's up to you.
Now this is also a matter of preference but I'm not liking the fonts. Maybe you could use a font like verdana that is more evenly spaced and easier to read. The titles look a bit crude too.
I would add some padding to the tables and remove the borders.
Aside from that, looks really nice. If you're expecting more serious traffic you're probably going to want to invest in a web host.

Nice layout.

One major thing: try to rework it so it will operate in a 800x600 screen resolution as well as a 1024x768 resolution. Do do this, specify your tables to be a 100% width (so it will stretch and shrink with varying resolutions), insead of with px measurements.

the layout seem really good, very easy to navigate.

you may also want to add more about the difference between RISC (reduced instruction set computing) and CISC (complex instructioon set computing) in the AMD and INTEL sections... it's not hard to explain, and can aid in comprehension.

Ok, I have taken away the table borders and tried to sort out the guide titles with ones I made in photoshop. I am going to write about the CISC/RISC later, when I have some spare time. You might see the same old page, because of your temp files though. Also, I have put up a notice about people helping if they want, it's pretty hard to keep a site running on your own If you have anymore opinions just say so.

I like it ! Are you going to have something on video cards ? That seems to be my worst nightmare no matter how much I read , maybe it's having to experience with a card before you can know what you really want or need . Thanks for the site. I added it to my bookmarks.

That's really good! I'm kind of new to using html myself. Paint Shop Pro 8 is really good if you make lots of graphics. You can download a trial version at www.jasc.com
