Adding shopping cart to site
I have a friend that wants me to train him how to use FrontPage to update his website. He also wants to quit using PayPal, as they take 16% of his total sales. He wants to add a shopping cart/credit card acceptance to his site. I have built a few sites, but never one with direct sales involved. Where should a guy go to find out more? Does anyone offer the code for this kind of thing?

Check out www.oscommerce.com. I have made a handful of e-commerce sites with that software package. It uses MySQL and PHP. I have a sample site at www.picawards.com/scart. I have live stores at www.edlittman.com/store & www.fuzelicious.com/store. I have others but they are inappropriate for posting here. It's very easy to install but a pain to customize (unless you're a PHP / MySQL guru).
