pop up blockers

anyone know of any good free pop-up blockers for ie? i had a good one that came with aol 9.0 but i no longer use that i just got cable and the pop ups are killing me!

also, anyone know of anyway to protect your privacy while surfing the internet? does cleaning history and temp. internet files totally get rid of everything?

Honestly, the best one that i have ever used is the pop up blocker that comes with the google toolbar. Intall it and your life will change.

Yeah, google all the way, can even click a button that will allow popups for certain sites.

lol, gabr16. Umm..I think there's one topic called
"the best pop up blocker ever" or something. it's working pretty well. I never even noticed that on google...and it's my home page!

I guess I get so used to blocking out spam and advertising I don't pay attention to those things anymore: (
