I have a computer that will NOT go to any web site. I've run out of things to try. I go online, but then get nowhere. It's IE 5.5 as loaded by AOL 6.0, but even using it with a different (than AOL) dial-up I get the same result. Someone have an idea please!!!

Thanks EzyStvy. I tried everything there and also other kb articles. Finally, I completely removed a couple of well-known troublemakers, AOL & Norton Systemworks, and I'm able to connect to web pages using a simple dial-up connection. As soon as I finish cleaning out the registry, I'll re-install AOL for the people.
Thanks again for the reply. |
