Yeah Buddy!
Foxfire is a very fast browser and I am really enjoying it. So far no bugs for me. Carl |

It sure is Sarge.
I've been using it since shortly after it came out and I love it. I like it better than the original Mozilla. |

I agree!
I totally agree with the above posts, Foxfire (formerly firebird) is an excellent browser and for my money pretty much leaves IE in its dust both in terms of speed and fuctionality. Tabbed browsing and the download manager are excellent. Even in its pre 1.0 releases Firefox is far more stable than IE 5.5 or 6.0 (from my experience Firefox 0.7-0.8 on Windows 2000).
This open source project has produced a better product than Microsoft, hopefully more internet users will realize this and make the switch. |

After figuring out the missing scrollbar+nav buttons problem, Firefox is pretty sweet. With the mouse gestures extension, I can move around all I want without touching the keyboard! Double sweet.

I was going to download Firefox the other day because I had been pleased with Firebird and I thought why not get the new one. Ain't happening for me though...I still use Win95 and Firefox has a minimum of Win98. Oh well.

Does Firefox support Flash, Shockwave, Java, and all that stuff?

I believe you still have to download the plugins and install them. I wish the people at Mozilla would include these in one of the upcoming versions.

Then I'll stay with Mozilla. I have no complains and if something works, why change it?
Thanks, Andy for your reply. |

You could just copy and paste the plugins from mozilla folder... and it does use Java.
