Don't post your e-mail everywhere or just spell it wrong when asked by people you don't know.

Sorry I don't know of any software for this.
Just another tip for you: What I do, is when I have to enter an email address to register for something online, I just use a Hotmail account that is solely for that purpose. I don't rely on it for communication, it's basically just a garbage account that I don't care about getting spammed on. |

Ihatespam a trial version is available, works well after about a week of training.

McAfee has some issues with their services - as I learned with this 98SE computer. Ihatespam does well, but the best filter is from your ISP. Most ISPs these days have a filter on their server, so you might want to talk to your ISP someday.
Hope that helps, kram

Try http://www.mailwasher.net/, there is a free and pro version($29.95). The free one will handle one address, and the pro one is for multiple addresses. It still downloads the spam, but you can create a "blacklist" which will stop future spam from the same address.

I just use Hotmail as my main email address. I get no spam at all in my inbox. It all goes to my junk mail folder. The filters on Hotmail are excellent. Also, when a site asks me for my email I usually type in something@hotmail.com and get away with it. If the site needs to verify my address I type in my real one but the filters are so good I don' worry at all.

I use Mozilla's e-mail client, it has built-in spam filtering capabilities, I don't get that much spam, but it works pretty well for me.
Thunderbird has the same capabilities. http://www.mozilla.org/ http://www.mozilla.org/projects/thunderbird/ |

Nortons Anti-spam that comes with Internet Security 2004 is great, my spam was reduced by al least 90%, and with mozilla's mail client I know get no spam at all.

A superb program
http://popfile.sourceforge.net POPFile works with Outlook and Outlook Express (works absolutely _brilliantly_ with Outlook) takes about 5 minutes to install and set up to filter spam I can give you a hand with it if you get stuck, though it's really not that difficult... You can also filter mail into other folders if you really want to (I have personal, spam, forums, ebay and orders...) Works like a dream after about 2 messages for each folder training. Just double click on the POPFile icon in the system tray and it opens up in your web browser. It comes configured securly so only IPs on your local LAN can access it, so no worries about security either Good luck :P HTH, Thanks Jim
