Now I think I know what caused my problem last time..
I just downloaded IE6 and security updates now I can't access my webpage for work. It is a secure site. I followed all settings for this in the advanced box in my "TOOLS>OPTIONS>ADVANCED" thing. After reading some poists here I noticed something about the jave. It worked fine before but now when I checked it on yahoo and also the java.com site it doesn't seem to work. I am in the process of downloading it now(JAVA). But is there any known way to get rid of these security updates? I look back and last time I downloaded the updates I had the same problem. My HD went out and had to get a another one. I checked the MS site and found a download for people having trouble connecting to a secure site but after download no luck. The IE6 was ok before the updates. Any suggestions? If I download netscape will it work or does it work in conjunction with explorer? |

I wouldn't use Netscape - it's loaded up with AOL bloat. Try Mozilla, same thing without AOL's interference, or try Opera, my personal favorite. No, they are completely separate from IE.
