Question Problem using a Proxy Server and vBulletin forums

Hi,

I'm having problems with vBulletin forums when I use a proxy server.

I can't make any posts. I keep getting logged out when I try.
I can't stay logged in. I keep getting logged out when I click on a new forum or thread.
Some of the pages are messed up, missing text, missing icons, things not where they should be.

I'm using IE 6.

Thanks

What kind of proxy server are you using? I have used 3 different ones, MS Proxy, ISA Server and Squid with no problems.

I'm using Verizon. It's their server, not mine. How do I tell what kind it is?

Why don't you just bypass their proxy - remove all proxies from IE?

If you want to use a proxy, you have to deal with its disadvantages. One reason I hate AOL, they cache everything.
