IE pop-ups Question
Why Am I suddenly getting IE popups when I dont even have it loaded?
I have checked for spyware and virus's.. I hate That Microsoft browser in the 1st place! It just started the past week and nothing on this system has been added to or taken off.. |

I use the Google Toolbar which works great with IE for blocking popups and it's also free here.

Are they IE popups or Messenger popups? If they are IE popups, you still have spyware or a browser hijacker on there, try Ad-Aware or some other tools.

They are IE popups glc,I have Two different spyware tools and they havnt fixed it..I guess maybe a third utility might just fix it? I hope. I use spysweeper and Spybot right now..Its a pain man!

Go into your Services and STOP and DISABLE your Messenger service.

Zilantyas did that but thanks anyway,,glc I installed Ad Ware and for now it seems to be stable,Hope it stays that way and thanks for the tip...
