I've personally never heard of that one. They might be okay but I don't know anything about it. Alot of people around here, as well as myself, use AVG. It's also free and does a really good job of protecting. If you want, you can check it out by CLICKING HERE

Yep, AntiVir is a very good anti-virus software.

I and almost all my friends use it. I got this recommendation from other friends who had problems with viruses and AntiVir succeeded where - I believe Norton (might be another commercial program, but with the newst update) - failed.

Yes I have used it and still do occasionally. It works good and doesn't seem to slow you down a lot. Interface is straight forward and easy to use.

I ran AVG anti virus untill it failed this test I put it throw I don't have the url at this time (maybe tomorrow plus others are found on the net) so I found this other one called AntiVir and it passed 2 out of 4 of the test and it's much easier to update too

so I guess I'll stick with this one for now

I think we could check out our anti-virus programs and post the results here and see witch it better

i have also used avast. It seemed to take more resources to work. Of the freebies it is supposed to be as good as avg, just not as well known. Not sure of that just what I have read. It is an easy scanner to use and also has a real time scanner. Updates are easy to do.

I tried AVG-antivirus again and it picked up a virus I got in an e-mail under test conditions from a web site that tests programs like this

so Me thinks I'll stick with this one
