You can't point it to your IP address. You have to point it to a nameserver that points it to your IP address. Dynamic DNS is a free one that you can use.

• Create and/or edit the existing entries for your domain

1)
Under the Add DNS Zone Record Entry
Name: what should I put here? (Is it a full domain name?)
Value: what should I put here? (Is it my IP address?)
Should I use Type A or CNAME?

If use CNAME, then again
Under the Add DNS Zone Record Entry
Name: what should I put here? (Is it a full domain name?)
Value: what should I put here? (Is it my IP address?)

Please help me

Name is your domain and value is your IP address. You should create an A record for the domain like so:
domain.com
and a CNAME(alias) for the www.
www.domain.com to point to domain.com

Thank you.

I searched on google(almost 15hrs). They said same answer. but your one was exact to the point.

But I could not enter the (example) "tttttt.com" in the name field, it only accept letters, numbers, underscore hyphens or @ ( this was an error message) that means I have to avoid "." So,

I called, They ask me enter @ for "name field" and My IP address for "Value field". For the CNAME I have to enter WWW for "Name field"
and @ for "Value field".

They also have default value (already set with their IP address), only thing, I had to do is " change the IP address" and save.

I just called "godaddy"
The said It would take atleast 24hrs to get updated. I am waiting
