XP firewall
We all know it's a POS. Now, why is it beneficial to disable it?
Does one need to disable it to prevent it from interfering with another firewall? TIA

Some feel they need to block out going and for those people there are other alternatives such as Zone Alarm and in those cases I would turn it off to eliminante the possibility of conflicts. For the same reason I have it turned off since I use a router. Chas
