I can't set up an FTP server behind my router :(

Can anyone help out? I have a netgear RP614v2.

I am also looking for good free FTP software. I have tried in vain to set the thing up. It just won't work. Any ideas?

See if the information on Run Servers Through A Router gets things up and running for you.

If not, a Google search for "ftp server behind router" will give you close to 100,000 hits, some of which surely will be what you need.

I am not really good at networkig or expert but
I am running server on one of my computer and I had open a port 80 for that IP address. It may be the same solution for FTP, but as I said, I am not expert.

To do that,
you must login to your Router and enable it.
