IE uninstall/ pop up stopping pls help me out

OK kids, here it is...

I have adaware and spybot, fully updated, frequently run. I have disabled messenger. I have downloaded Google toolbar.

I AM STILL GETTING TONS OF POP UP ADS.

My solution is to use Mozilla, which i can do. Except for one thing.

I am using Bluelight Discount ISP software and service. It supports only Netscape or IE, so it attempts to open a browser in IE upon start up.

I tried to uninstall IE by using add/remove programs, but it asks to revert to a previous version, which i never had. Now it is off of the add/remove list, but my Bluelight software, and hence, the pop up ads, can all still open in IE. How can i eradicate IE completely from the system? (Win XP home, pre-installed by Dell)

I know the pop up thing is covered ad nauseum in these forums, but the solutions seem to revolve around messenger, google toolbar and mozilla. Been there, done that. Help!!!

Thanks tons,
Jim

PS Best forum on the web... due to people like YOU!!!

Check the End Users License Agreement for your isp's software, could be coming from there. You might need to change isp's or see if they offer an add free-version if the ads are included in your service.
