I just got guild FTP and i want to know how to find my IP adress. Actually i went into the program and it showed it to me.....but when i go on the internet it shows a different one. My friend needs to give me his IP for me to allow him to get in but he can't get it. So where is the best place to find and i believe its and NIC IP adress.?????

What O/S?
If 2k/XP, go start > run > type "cmd" > type "ipconfig /all"

Well im using guile for my FTP server and leech for my client. I went to my friends house and tried to connect using my IP and i made sure that the IP was accepted in the "IP Mask" section of guile. The connection never connects it always says socket error after about 30 seconds. If i use my own computer and log in to the server on my computer it works fine. But my friends can't get on? What settings should i check.....i made sure to give them the IP, username, and password right?????any suggestions?
