IE problem
ok, one day, all of a sudden, internet explorer starts to act up, from an unknown trigger. but, i cant have more then one IE window opened at the same time, or the newest one will close the previous one. which, as i can imagine, is quite annoying when u get slammed with pop-ups. its hard to do anyhting. ive got the latest windows updates, ive even done a system restore to 2 weeks before the occurance of the problem, but it is still there. so, does anyone one kno anything about this, anything would be a help. thanks for your time

I would recomend you scan your computer with sptbot www.safer-networking.org and
ad-aware www.lavasoftusa.com for popups try google toolbar. Or you could just switch to mozilla firefox browser(althought you should still run adaware and spybot).

If I were in your case, I would think of Mozilla as a good alternative choice.

its very good. although a bit slower(well for me atleast) it has many more features like tabed browsing, its easy to skin, its more secure, etc... You should give it a try and see for yourself.
