IE 6 Freezing Issue after 5 mins..

My client's IE 6 keeps freezing after about 5 mins or so and then I have to reboot the PC to make it work. I have ran all updates, cleared cache and cookies as well. I am running it on a Win2K system with SP4 installed. Should I uninstall IE and reinstall???

Thanks in andvance!

Hey - are the computers in adequate condition to run MSIE? MSIE6, amazingly, takes up a good amount of system resources. In other words, I'm asking whether you have a good amount of RAM, CPU clockspeed, and other hardware stuff.

Also, change the homepage of your clients to something different and see what happens first. It might be the homepage is giving the IE window a hard time when it boots up.

Hope that helps,
kram
