Recommend Spam Control Software
What is a good spam program to work with xp? What do you recommend?

Hotmail. Believe it or not. You can set Hotmail up to only accept e-mail from those in your address book at the Hotmail site. It's not hard to synchronize between the OE and Hotmail address books, espeically if you have broadband.
If you are truely bold, you can have all that non-address book automatically deleted. I have all that non listed stuff sent to a dedicated JUNK folder. This way if my friends change their e-mail or something, I'll still get it. But it does corral spam really good. 99% of all e-mail in my junk folder is spam. Everything is at least from someone I know! MS is the only spammer allowed. It's default and TOS. |
