Gmail will automatically refresh your inbox view every so often, so you can leave your computer to do other things and new e-mails will be waiting for you when you return--there's no need to manually refresh the page. Yeah, I saw it used on The Screen Savers before, and it didn't seem like anything all that special.

I still prefer to use the mail account my ISP provides. I have never liked web based e-mail.
