Firefox has tabbed browsing built in, and it is a far better browser. I highly recommend you use it instead of trying to figure out a plugin for IE.

i second juicelooser's opinion. im using mozilla (recenty switched from firefox), and they are both better browsers than IE. and yes, they both have tabbed browsing. No sense in trying to install a plugin for IE, youll probably end up screwing it up if you try that.

They probably ran a spyware check after installing it and just *assumed* it was FireFox that installed it.

MyIE2 is more in the nature of a shell enhancement for IE. It offers tabbed browsing and pop-up/ad-blocking among a whole host of other features. Skinning is also possible.

Another tabbed IE enhancement is NetCaptor. This one is no longer free, and is not really IMHO worth the buy when you can have MyIE2 for free.

Icallmedan, I would suggest you try out MyIE2 and see if you like it.

Most likely these "incompatabilities" are people who incorrectly made their sites. FireFox is 100% standards compliant, meaning it uses what the W3C says is correct to display webpages. Just about anything, unless it was specifically designed to use IE (a stupid idea, in my opinion), will run in FireFox.

I recently started using My IE 2 and it is great. Has lots of features that Firefox, Mozilla, and Opera don't have and is very fast and stable.
