Attachments in Email
Hey guys,
I've tried EVERYTHING. My parents have a standard dial up connection. XTN is the name of it. Anyway, for some reason my parents cannot attach anything to their emails. No pictures, word documents etc. NOTHING. And I have tried using both their "Free" email clients....Hotmail. And my paid account...Chartertn. The server simply times out in both cases. An error never occurs. The server simply states it has logged you out while trying to attach something. I am also WELL under the size limits of the mail clients. Any Ideas???? It is driving me crazy! |

Usually there is about a 1MB limit, or however much space there is left in their online accounts.
How large are the attachments? Have you tried compressing them with winzip or winrar?

check the terms of the ISP service agreement.
It may not allow you to upload files.. although I can't imagine why. |
