Morpheus
I had a laptop from this shop cuz there fixing mine and they gave me one with Win98. I download Morphues and at first everything was going fine. Then a couple hours latter at starts messing up, not connecting right, running very slowly, etc. I have a new laptop now with windows XP home. Will it work better on this or should I just stay away from Morphues all together? Is there a better freeware program like Kazaa or something?

If you're gonna use a P2P app, I suggest K++. If not for any other reason than the absence of spyware. My friend had Morpheus on his box, and it took me forever to clean all the crap off of it, although part of the problem was neglect on his part.

I used kazaa before for a long time but Morpheus was downloading faster and got more searchs. Is there a way to get morpheus without all the spyware?

Well, you could try to get rid of it by running Ad-aware and Spybot, but if you're able to do so, you may not be able to use Morpheus. Reason being that many of these apps require that the spyware be installed.
Again, I recommend K++ for a spyware free P2P app. |
