When you first said you were in the UK, I thought that might be a problem, but when you said you were Welsh, I then knew things would be alright.

Hi and Welcome,
I'm an old f__t also, 67, and just picked up this computer thing a few years ago. I also just do it for fun, and, enjoy it immensely. It's great when the grandkids say it's broke, but grandpa can fix if. Dale |

Ahh, isn't that the way it used to be in the good old days, before kids started assuming they were so smart?
Welcome aboard!

'Only' 77? That's pretty darned good for a fellow Texan! I still have my motorcycle driver's license, which is required out here and still am forced to take their test at renewal each time, but I haven't been on a bike in 30 years, maybe 28, when I gave up desert racing. We are obviously blessed with good health. I'd still be hunting if there was something I craved in the back country, but I've done it all and am thankful to have been blessed with good health. Peace!

hello folks,jas1 here i haven't been on the forum for a while, trying to digest all the reviews and all the jargon, perhaps all you geeks out there can help me with the choice of my first build? telling me if all the ones i have selected are all compatable and could i do something different, i know perhaps i need more for the build,so again i ask you all for your thoughts. here we go.
mb-gigabyte-skt-aqm2+/am3 ga-m68m-s2p. cpu-amdathlon 11+2 255 3.1ghz. psu-corsair cx400. xigmatek-1283 hdt heatsink. hard drive-western digital 500gb caviar green 32mb. case-elite 330 mid tower-atx. if they are ok what more do i need? i have to go now,but i look forward to what you have to say. thanks. jas1. please be gentle with me. |
